A fulfillment warehouse picks customers and dates in a dashboard. It downloads all 4 billing reports per customer from Pakaneo, their warehouse software.

The problem
A fulfillment warehouse in Germany bills its business customers twice a month. Each bill needs 4 reports per customer from Pakaneo, their warehouse software. By hand that was 9 to 10 clicks and 1 to 2 minutes per customer. One billing round had 75 customers and 300 reports over two accounts: up to 2.5 hours of clicking.
What I built
A simple dashboard anyone on the team can run:
- 1Pick customers by name from a saved list
- 2Pick dates and which of the 4 reports
- 3Pick one account or both, click Download
- 4Watch progress, get one dated folder
The hard part
Each report took 30+ seconds to build in a new tab. So the tool logs in once, then asks the site for the files directly, many at a time. The first big run got 95 of 100 reports: the site slows down when too many are asked for at once. Retries, pauses and a failed-file list fixed it. Later, some customers got an empty file from the wrong account, so the team now picks it.
The results
- Up to 2.5 hours saved per billing round
- 39 customers, 156 reports, 0 failed
- About 19 minutes, nobody clicking
- The client came back for a second order
